Super Sikhs BBQ and Presentation a Huge Success!

Over 150 people came to Glenwood, NSW this Sunday 26^th July 2015 to celebrate the achievements of Super Sikh athletes, volunteers, supporters and sponsors at ‘Super Sikhs Annual BBQ and Presentation’ afternoon.

The event featured over 200 awards being presented to athletes for their achievements across cricket, volleyball and touch footy; with standout performers, Harmon Sandhu and Gurkirat Singh, being presented with shields of high achievement for their selection in the NSW U19’s team in the sport of cricket and volleyball respectively.

The Super Sikhs BBQ and Presentation was organised by the Super Sikhs Sports and Cultural Association and spokesperson Gurpreet Singh Badwal said “The Super Sikhs BBQ was an outstanding success and thanks to the athletes, volunteers and sponsors for their ongoing support,”

“It was great to see a platform today where club members engaged, networked and celebrated their achievements.”

In addition to the presentation guests in attendance included Honourable Kevin Conolly, State MP Riverstone, Sam Almaliki from Cricket Australia and Craig McLean from Cricket NSW who said “Cricket NSW attended to help celebrate the wonderful achievements from last season and he is looking forward to continuing to work with Balraj Ougra to make the Mosaic Cricket Association a huge success.

MoneyGram representative Deepthi Raghavan was also delighted by the engagement the event produced and said “MoneyGram is happy to support today’s event as part of MoneyGram’s community engagement program.”
